The best card to get is a spawar card…my husband calls home ALL the time and it only costs 4 cents a minute. Sometimes they even have days where you can call home for free. My husband has been deployed for the past 13 months and this is the only card we ever use.

he can get a spawar card at the base he is at which has better rates then most calling cards that you will find here. my husband is deployed now and we have found yahoo voice and messaging to be great!!!!!!! we can do webcam, he can call me without having to stand in a line to use th phone, and he can text me from his computer.

The phone cards through AT&T and through AAFES are the best. Unfortunately, it’s just plain expensive to call, no matter what.

Well i was in the same boat, i started with reliance as my friends were using it , it was ok compared sprint like expensive cards but it had voice lag and some time the call wont go.
Then i tried airtel they had some festive offer and i was happy for some time again issues started with airtel , then i checked with other friends and they referred stana card which had equal or better quality than Airtel & Reliance but lesser charge and many offers which makes it even cheaper , i liked it so far
